About Gerard

Hello there, I’m Gerard, a learning designer based in Australia who loves using the right technology to bring people on an exciting and inspirational learning journey.

My background in eLearning instructional design, and education in serious games, allows me to create unique and engaging learning experiences where people take an active role in their learning.

I started my career in Learning & Development as an IT Trainer and quickly found my passion for digital learning. Working in both educational and corporate settings, I became a full-time eLearning developer supporting employees with their learning needs. During this time, I undertook various certifications including the ATD’s Advanced Instructional Design Certificate and I’m an accomplished user of Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate and the full Adobe Creative Suite.

As a lifelong learner, I’ve recently undertaken a degree in serious games where I’ve built on skills in video production, programming, game design, interactive narrative, and augmented reality development. These skills and my human-centered approach to projects ensure I produce learning experiences that are highly engaging and help people grow and perform.
